Installation

Download and run Installer. The downloaded file will looks like this: RefShelf_x.x.x_win64-setup.exe.

1. User Account Control

Press "Yes". For more information about "Publisher: Unknown" please see the Downloading Warnings section.

2. End-User License Agreement

Warning

Please carefully read the EULA. If you do not agree with all of the terms, please halt the installation. Press "Cancel" to leave the installation wizard.

3. Destination Location

Change the destination folder only if you really need this.

Note

Destination dialog may not appear if you have RefShelf already installed. The current installation will replace the previously installed program with a new one. In this case, no need to worry about the destination folder at all.

4. Desktop Shortcut

If you want the Desktop Shortcut to be created, do not uncheck the checkbox. Press "Next >" to proceed to the next step.

5. Confirm Settings and Install

Before proceeding with the software installation, make sure that you haven't missed anything. To change something, press "< Back" until you reach one of the previous steps you want to change. Once all settings are fine, press "Install" and wait for the installation process to complete.

6. Finishing Installation

To launch the software right away check the "Launch RefShelf" checkbox. To finish the installation and exit the installer, click "Finish" button.

Uninstallation

1. Call Apps & features

To initiate the uninstallation process, open the Start menu and type: "programs". Then choose "Add or remove programs", or "Apps & features", or "Programs and Features".

2. Find RefShelf

This opens the uninstallation tool with the list of all installed software. Search for "RefShelf" and click on "Uninstall" button.

3. User Account Control**

Press "Yes".

4. Removing the Program

After pressing "Yes" the program and desktop shortcut will be removed.

5. Removing Program Data

RefShelf stores its data separately in the locations conventional to your OS.

The RefShelf's Program Data are the:

images created from clipboard,
images dragged from the browser,
all information about currently added Reference Image's (source images locations on a drive, Ref windows positions on a screen, thumbnails and so on...),
the current program Settings.

In case if you want to leave your RefShelf Settings information and images saved from clipboards for future use press "No".

If you want to completely remove all the RefShelf manager traces press "Yes".

6. Finishing Uninstallation

Press "Ok" to finish the uninstallation process.
