Gather Reference Images from Anywhere
Drag and drop images directly from your browser into RefShelf. The app downloads and saves them automatically. You can also drag files from your desktop or file manager, or paste images directly from the clipboard.
RefShelf never moves or duplicates your local files - it simply creates and operates on links to them. Your original data stays intact, preserving your file system's structure while saving storage space.
Rename and Search References
Assign custom names to reference images without renaming the original files. Use the search box to quickly locate specific references.
Open, Move, Zoom, and Pan Multiple References at Once
Every reference image in RefShelf has its own thumbnail. Double-clicking a thumbnail opens an independent floating window with a minimalist design. You can open multiple reference windows at the same time.
Move, resize, zoom, and pan reference windows to focus on important details. Arrange them side by side to create a virtual mood board or reference board.
Keep Reference Images Always On Top
RefShelf ensures that all opened reference windows stay always on top, so you don’t need a second monitor for references. Pin images over any part of your workspace, making them instantly accessible.

Get the Latest Version
The available downloads provide the latest version of RefShelf. If you have a previous version and wish to upgrade, uninstall the previous version before downloading and installing the latest release.
